WordPress System Administrator

Job Description

We are looking for a WordPress System Administrator with expertise in server management, website migration, and security. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with WordPress, Linux servers, DNS, and email setup, along with the ability to secure, maintain, and troubleshoot websites.

Responsibilities

* Migrate WordPress websites between servers/hosting platforms (cPanel, Plesk, VPS, Cloud, etc.)

* Configure and manage Linux/Windows servers, DNS records, and SSL certificates

* Set up and manage business email (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, or server-based email)

* Implement WordPress security best practices and monitor server performance

* Scan, clean, and fix malware-infected WordPress websites

* Optimize server and website performance for speed and stability

* Regular backups, monitoring, and troubleshooting server/website issues

Requirements

* Proven experience as a System Administrator / Web Hosting Administrator

* Strong knowledge of WordPress migration, setup, and troubleshooting

* Experience with DNS management, email configuration, and SSL setup

* Familiarity with firewall setup, malware cleanup, and server hardening

* Knowledge of cPanel, Plesk, or similar hosting control panels

* Experience with AWS / GCP / DigitalOcean (basic VM setup & management is a plus)

* Good communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills

* PHP/MySQL basics (for debugging WordPress issues)

* Deployment of any application based on NodeJs, Laravel etc.

* Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery strategies

* Familiarity with CDN (Cloudflare, etc.)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

• New Town, Kolkata, West Bengal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
