Job Overview:
Acclivis Technologies is looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Software Developer with a strong command over Delphi programming environments, backend database systems, and modern frontend and scripting technologies. The role involves development, maintenance, testing, and mentoring within a collaborative and Agile environment.
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using Delphi (10.2 Tokyo, XE4, XE2, Delphi 7, Delphi 5).
- Work on backend development using PL/SQL, SQL Server, and file handling techniques.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and JSON-based web services.
- Contribute to JavaScript frontend development in Windows, Web, and Android environments.
- Participate in Rapid Application Development (RAD) projects.
- Use version control systems such as Git, SVN, and Perforce for collaborative development.
- Implement OOPS concepts with strong focus on design patterns and modular code structure.
- Conduct unit testing, sanity testing across environments (UAT/Test/QA/Prod).
- Provide mentoring and training to junior developers.
- Perform peer code reviews and maintain coding standards.
- Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and follow best practices for iterative delivery.
Technical Skill Requirements:
- Strong experience in Delphi (various versions) – a must.
- Proficient in C#.Net, Ansible, PowerShell, and VBA Macros.
- Hands-on with Oracle PL/SQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Familiarity with JavaScript, JSON, REST APIs, and web development.
- Comfortable with version control tools like Git, SVN, and Perforce.
- Excellent understanding of OOPS, software design, and application architecture.
- Knowledge of Windows, Web, and Android application development.
- Strong debugging, code optimization, and documentation skills.
