This position is in the Data Analytics team of People Data under the Enterprise Business Services People Tech organization. The objective of the People tech organization is to build the best-in-class engineering, analytics and data science solutions that power the best experience for our people, adhering to the Walmart philosophy - Everyday Low Cost.

As a part of People Tech & Service analytics, you'll play a leading role in transforming how we empower and support associates all along their experiences with Analytics products and processes. What you will do:

• Provide Business Intelligence (BI) solutions to the Global business teams within PTS analytics organization
• Build ETLs/ELTs to take data from various data sources to craft a unified data model for analytics and reporting.
• Develop a deep understanding of vast data sources (existing on device and in the cloud) and know exactly how, when, and which data to use to tackle a particular engineering or business problems.
• Retrieve, analyze and present data using Google Cloud Platform, Tableau , Power BI and other data management systems
• Work directly with leaders and business teams to understand requirement; and propose and develop best business solution that enables effective decision-making, and drive business objectives
• Prepares realistic project implementation plans which highlight major milestones and deliverables leveraging standard methods and work planning tools
• Recognizes potential issues and risks during the analytics project implementation and can suggest realistic mitigation strategies
• The ability to understand the business problem and determine what aspects of it require optimization; articulate those aspects in a clear and concise manner
• Communicating and owning the process in manipulating and merging large datasets
• Ability to view and understand other project or functional areas in order to consolidate analytical needs and processes
  
  

What You Will Bring

• Masters or Bachelors degree in Business ,Computer Science, Applied Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Information Management, or related field
• 10+ years of work experience in Reporting and analytics using Tableau , Power BI and Looker
• 8+ years of experience with SQL Server or other relational databases and proven database experience writing complex, efficient SQL queries
• 4+ years of experience in Python and AI / ML
• 4+ years of experience using Google cloud platform
• Strong Knowledge of data modeling and data warehousing concepts
• Demonstrable ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders efficiently and effectively
• Strong business acumen and detail oriented
• Experience in development of Gen AI and AI agents
• Experience in Agile / Jira
• Ability to multitask and deliver in tight deadlines
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
