.Net Developer - MVC/WebAPI

Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Senior .NET Developer to join our .NET team. You will work closely with the IT Project Manager and Head of IT to develop, maintain, and enhance internal systems and customer-facing applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in .NET Core technologies, API development, and working in agile, cross-functional teams.

This role requires strong problem-solving skills, the ability to write clean and scalable code, and a collaborative mindset to deliver quality products on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in requirements analysis and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable and secure applications using .NET Core, MVC, and Web API.
• Create and manage RESTful APIs to support frontend and mobile applications.
• Work closely with frontend developers to integrate backend services with Angular, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance issues, and production outages.
• Coordinate with other development teams to ensure consistency in architecture and standards.
• Write and maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation.
• Maintain and manage source control using TFS or Git-based repositories.
• Deploy applications on Azure and support cloud-based infrastructure as needed.
• Follow Agile methodology for planning, development, and delivery of tasks.
• Contribute to team meetings, code reviews, and collaborative problem-solving.
  
  

Required Skills And Qualifications

• 5-9 years of hands-on experience as a .NET Developer.
• Strong proficiency in :
• .NET Core
• Entity Framework
• LINQ
• Web API
• MVC (ASP.NET Core)
• Angular
• JavaScript / jQuery
• Experience with Azure cloud services (App Services, Azure SQL, Storage, etc.).
• Experience with TFS or other source control and versioning tools.
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Proven experience in backend development and customer management systems.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a highly collaborative environment.

• Experience working with microservices architecture.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in Azure.
