Must Have Skills

• Understanding core Azure services like Azure Virtual Machines, Microsoft Entra ID, IaaS, PaaS & SaaS environment, Azure Monitor.
• The candidate should actively incorporate AI tools and automation into their daily workflow to solve team challenges. (CoPilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, etc)
• Demonstrated ability to use AI for time-saving, increasing operational efficiency, and delivering added value to monitoring and incident response processes.
• Familiarity with AI-powered monitoring, alerting, or reporting tools is a strong plus.
• Customer centric and solution oriented mindset focused on continuous improvement and innovation through technology.
• Should be able to make informed decisions effectively to mitigate risks and ensure smooth operations. Also takes full ownership for monitoring activities, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor infrastructure, applications, and/or security systems using monitoring tools (e.g., RMM/LogicMonitor/Defender/Sentinel)
• Respond to incidents, alerts, and outages in a timely manner and provide Level 1/2 support.
• Perform proactive maintenance tasks such as patching, backups, updates, and security reviews.
• Maintain accurate logs and incident records in ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, TopDesk, Connectwise).
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve issues.
• Generate and distribute daily/weekly/monthly reports.
• Participate in shift handovers and ensure continuity of operations.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and contribute to their improvement.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1–2 years of experience in a monitoring, NOC, SOC, or IT support role.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and ticketing systems.
• Basic understanding of networking, servers, cloud platforms, or cybersecurity (depending on focus).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Willingness to work in a 24x7 rotational shift environment.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Certifications on AZ-900, SC-900 and fundamentals.
• Experience with automation or scripting (e.g., PowerShell)
• Exposure to ITIL practices.
