About the Role
We’re looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in bringing data to life through powerful visualizations built on Power BI. You’ll work closely with our data engineering and machine learning teams to help transform data into meaningful insights for our business stakeholders. If you enjoy solving problems, understanding business needs, and turning raw data into actionable dashboards: this is the role for you.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain user-friendly Power BI dashboards that help business users explore data and make informed decisions.
- Understand business requirements and translate them into effective reports and visual stories.
- Work with data engineers to ensure the right data is available, accurate, and reliable for reporting needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across teams to make sure visualizations meet their needs and are easy to understand.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and potential areas for improvement or action.
- Test and validate your reports to ensure consistency between source systems and visuals.
Technical Skills:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in data analysis and reporting, especially using Power BI.
- Banking domain experience is a must
- Strong SQL skills to query, clean, and analyze data.
- Exposure to Azure data tools like Azure Data Lake, Synapse, or Azure SQL is a plus.
- Good understanding of how to design intuitive dashboards and create a smooth user experience.
- Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and in Agile environments.
- Basic knowledge of Python for data manipulation is nice to have, but not mandatory.
- Good communication skills - both verbal and written.
- Stakeholder management - ability to work with and navigate through senior stakeholders
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Power Query and DAX for more advanced Power BI work.
- Experience in working with enterprise-scale datasets or integrating data from multiple systems.
- Ability to document your work clearly and collaborate using tools like Jira and Confluence.
- A curious mindset and strong attention to detail.
