Job Title: QA Engineer
Experience: 5 to 9 years
Work Location: Bangalore – Mahadevapura or Chennai
Work Mode: On-site (5 days a week, no remote option)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Note: This role requires working from the office 5 days a week due to strict data/device security policies. Devices cannot be taken outside the office premises.
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and proactive QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end testing of applications with a focus on both manual and automated testing strategies. This role is hands-on and requires working closely with development, DevOps, and product teams to ensure product quality and release readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
Test Planning & Execution:
Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business and technical requirements.
Conduct functional, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Accurately log, track, and manage defects to closure.
Automation Testing:
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for end-to-end (E2E) and API testing.
Utilize frameworks/tools such as Playwright, SoapUI, or equivalent.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality.
Technical Skills & Cloud Testing:
Apply basic programming knowledge in JavaScript, TypeScript, and SQL for scripting and validation.
Understand and support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform.
Work within AWS cloud-native services for testing and environment validation.
Must-Have Qualifications:
5–9 years of hands-on QA experience with strong exposure to both manual and automation testing.
Proficiency in E2E and API test automation using Playwright, SoapUI, or similar tools.
Good programming fundamentals and scripting skills (JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL).
Understanding of DevOps concepts and experience with CI/CD tools.
Exposure to AWS cloud environments and IaC tools like Terraform.
