Accounting & Data Analyst - 4 to6 years

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Accounting & Data Analyst with 4–6 years of professional experience to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in accounting principles combined with a solid ability to analyze and interpret financial data. You will play a critical role in financial reporting, data visualization, forecasting, and process optimization to support informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.

• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and business opportunities.

• Support budgeting and forecasting processes with data-driven insights.

• Develop interactive dashboards and financial models using Power BI and Excel.

• Manage general ledger, reconciliations, journal entries, and support tax compliance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for data gathering and reporting.

• Maintain and improve financial and data processes for efficiency and accuracy.

• Assist in internal and external audit processes with required documentation.

• Ensure adherence to company financial policies and regulatory compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• 4–6 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial data analysis.

• Strong proficiency in Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, macros).

• Hands-on experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools.

• Proficient in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Tally.

• Working knowledge of SQL for data querying is an advantage.

• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certifications such as CMA, CPA, CA (Inter), or CFI, FMVA, MBA.

• Experience in automating reporting and reconciliation tasks.
