Working in this area, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients in formulating and executing effective strategies to optimise outcomes in their deal-making processes.

We are expanding our team to support the increasing demand from our clients across a broad range of sectors to transform their IT function. As well as working with a wide range of clients, you will also work with leading practitioners across the Deals, Strategy & and Consulting practice within the Firm.
Responsibilities
As a Manager in the team, you will be responsible for building proposition material and supporting with the implementation and rapid change delivery for our clients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Helping management develop and implement a turnaround or transformation programme
- Support analysis of IT costs, operations and governance to quantify value creation opportunities and Transformation journeys with supporting business cases
- Strong passionate for Technology, especially Cloud, and a demonstrable understanding of the new technologies and ways of working (e.g. Agile, DevOps, DevSecOps, IaC)
- Assimilating complex information to formulate a structured and pragmatic restructuring strategy best suited to the clients’ strategic challenges and cost agenda.
- Support development of cost savings strategies into a practical and fit for purpose implementation plan for clients, articulating clearly quick wins and longer structural cost transformation initiatives.
- Preparing presentations and/or reports to key stakeholders (e.g. Board, senior management).
- Taking responsibility for leading junior members of the team where required including coaching and upskilling of junior team members.
- Actively managing project economics and overall programme governance.
You will also be expected to actively contribute to the development of our team by:
- Supporting with marketing and business development initiatives (both internally and externally) to continuously develop our position in the market.
- Managing a diverse and inclusive team.
- Coaching and acting as a role model for the junior members of the team.
We are looking for candidates with the experience of supporting clients throughout the operational transformation lifecycle from strategic opportunity assessment and planning through to supporting the delivery of specific initiatives.
These candidates will have experience in IT and have the following capabilities:
- Previous experience in cost-based transformation in Technology gained either from large multinationals or consulting/advisory roles
- Proficient understanding of the Technology stack, the Technology function Operating Model and IT allocations processes
- Experience of delivering operational change in IT
- Experience in public cloud (AWS and Azure preferred)
- Understanding of how technology can enable business objectives
- Experience of managing stakeholders
- Ability to manage ambiguity or conflicting priorities.
- High impact communication in the written and verbal form with extensive experience of development of power point presentations to synthesise analysis and communicate key conclusions.
