Overview
About the internship:
1. Generative AI Applications-Assist in building and maintaining LLM-powered features such as chat interfaces, assistants, and analytical tools.
-Work closely with engineers to translate product requirements into reliable AI workflows.
2. Prompt Engineering & Optimization
-Design, test, and refine high-quality prompts to improve accuracy, reasoning, consistency, and safety.
-Experiment with prompting techniques such as: Few-shot examples, Structured / schema-based prompts, Instruction tuning & role prompting and Tool-calling and function-based prompts
-Analyze model outputs and iterate on prompts based on real user data and evaluation results.
3.RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) Pipelines
-Build and optimize RAG pipelines for knowledge-based question answering and decision support systems.
-Improve retrieval quality using: Chunking strategies, Embedding selection, Metadata filtering and reranking
-Work with vector databases to enable fast and accurate semantic search.
4. AI Agents & Workflows
-Support the development of AI agents capable of multi-step reasoning, tool usage, and autonomous task execution.
-Help design agent prompts, memory handling, and decision logic.
5. Evaluation & Reliability
-Design and run evaluations to measure prompt quality, retrieval accuracy, hallucination rates, and overall system reliability.
-Compare different prompts, embeddings, and pipelines using both automated metrics and human review.
6. Data Preparation
-Process and prepare structured and unstructured data (documents, emails, policies, APIs, logs) for LLM and RAG usage.
-Assist with data cleaning, chunking, and annotation workflows.

1. Core Skills
-Strong foundational knowledge of Python.
-Solid understanding of LLMs, embeddings, and how Generative AI systems work.
-Clear interest or hands-on experience in prompt engineering and iterative experimentation.
2. GenAI & Tooling
-Basic experience or strong willingness to learn LangChain, LangGraph, or similar orchestration frameworks.
-Familiarity with RAG concepts and semantic search.
-Exposure to vector databases such as Qdrant, Pinecone, or Chroma.
3. Engineering Fundamentals
-Comfort working with Git and collaborative workflows (GitHub/GitLab).
-Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
4.Bonus (Nice to Have)
-Familiarity with Docker and basic cloud concepts (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
-Experience running evaluations or benchmarks for LLM outputs.
-Curiosity about AI reliability, hallucinations, and prompt safety.
5. Candidates who are available for a minimum of 2 months and open to an extension up to 6 months based on performance.
