Android Developer

Overview

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Android Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and building advanced applications for the Android platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and ship new features, and ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin/Java.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Work with outside data sources and APIs (REST, JSON, etc.).
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Publish applications to the Google Play Store and maintain existing apps.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven software development experience and Android skills development.
• Proven working experience in Android app development.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks.
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
• Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
