Android Developer

Overview

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Android Developer with 2–4 years of experience to join our growing mobile development team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining Android applications that offer seamless user experiences. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality mobile solutions aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and performant Android applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and backend developers to implement new features and improve existing ones.
• Debug and resolve issues related to app performance, crashes, and bugs.
• Optimize application performance for a broad range of Android devices and OS versions.
• Stay updated with the latest Android development trends, tools, and frameworks.
• Participate in peer code reviews and ensure code quality and consistency.
• Integrate third-party libraries, SDKs, and RESTful APIs.
• Ensure compliance with Google Play Store guidelines and support the app publishing process.
• Use Firebase services for analytics, crash reporting, notifications, and authentication.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Languages: Proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java.
• Android Development: Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Jetpack components (ViewModel, LiveData, Room, Navigation, etc.).
• Architecture Patterns: Familiarity with MVC, MVP, and MVVM patterns.
• UI/UX: Experience with custom UI components, animations, and adherence to Material Design guidelines.
• API Integration: Proficient in working with RESTful APIs and handling JSON.
• Tools: Expertise with Android Studio, Logcat, and debugging tools.
• Version Control: Proficiency in Git.
• Databases: Experience with SQLite, Room, or other local data storage solutions.
• Testing: Exposure to unit and UI testing frameworks such as JUnit and Espresso.
• Agile Methodologies: Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per year
