Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Android Developer with 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in building Android applications. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-performance mobile applications that deliver a seamless user experience. The ideal candidate should be passionate about mobile technologies, write clean and scalable code, and work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin/Java.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Work with outside data sources and APIs (REST, JSON).
- Maintain and improve the performance, quality, and responsiveness of existing applications.
- Identify and fix bugs and bottlenecks in performance.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in mobile development.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of professional experience in Android app development.
- Proficient in Kotlin and/or Java.
- Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and commonly used libraries (e.g., Retrofit, Glide, Room).
- Familiarity with MVVM architecture and Jetpack components.
- Knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Experience integrating third-party libraries and APIs.
- Understanding of Git and version control systems.
- Solid debugging and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have (Optional):
- Experience with Jetpack Compose.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Bitrise, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Espresso).
- Experience in publishing apps to the Google Play Store.
