We're looking for an experienced Android Developer who can help us build robust, scalable applications for rugged barcode and RFID handheld devices, integrating deeply with both hardware SDKs and cloud telemetry platforms.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain native Android applications for rugged barcode and RFID devices
Integrate with hardware SDKs (e.g., Zebra, Honeywell) and support device-specific features
Consume IoT telemetry data using REST APIs
Implement communication protocols using Bluetooth, NFC, and Cloud-sync modules ( NFC - Near Field Communication.
Participate in code reviews, write technical documentation, and contribute in agile ceremonies
Collaborate closely with Hardware, Firmware, QA, and Cloud teams to ensure seamless system integration
Must-Have Qualifications
3+ years of hands-on experience in Kotlin-based Android development
Strong exposure to barcode/RFID handheld SDKs (e.g., Zebra EMDK, Honeywell Mobility SDK)
Proven experience with at least one of the following:
Bluetooth communication
NFC operations
Cloud-based data sync (Firebase, REST APIs)
Proficient with Git and Android unit/UI testing frameworks
Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with Android Things or Flutter for embedded/IoT environments
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
Knowledge of secure communication protocols (SSL/TLS, certificate pinning)
