Minutes to Seconds is looking for a Android Developer in a Contract role in India. Its a 100% remote, WFH opportunity.

Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Android Developer for our client with strong expertise in Kotlin, Java, and Jetpack Compose UI. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building scalable Android applications, implementing modern architectures, and integrating with APIs and third-party libraries.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced applications for the Android platform.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
• Apply MVVM architecture and data binding techniques to ensure clean, maintainable code.
• Integrate RESTful APIs, JSON/XML data handling, and third-party components.
• Leverage Jetpack Compose UI for building modern, responsive interfaces.
• Collaborate using source control tools (GIT/SVN) to manage code effectively.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Stay updated with the latest Android technologies and best practices.
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of Android Development experience using Android SDK and Android Studio.
• 5+ years of experience with the Java technology stack.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin.
• Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose UI (REQUIRED).
• Expertise in JSON/XML handling and data binding.
• Solid understanding of MVVM application architecture.
• Experience integrating third-party components (e.g., Telerik or similar).
• Knowledge of web technologies (XML, CSS3, JavaScript).
• Proficiency with source control tools such as GIT or SVN.

• Experience with performance optimization and debugging complex issues.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
