Role: Associate AI Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models with a strong focus on Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Build LLMs from scratch, including data collection, preprocessing, tokenization, training, fine-
  tuning, and evaluation.
• Work extensively with transformer-based architectures (e.g., encoder-decoder models, attention mechanisms).
• Optimize model performance in terms of latency, scalability, and accuracy for production
  environments.
• Collaborate closely with backend engineers, product managers, and data teams to translate business requirements into AI-driven solutions.
• Conduct experimentation, model benchmarking, and hyperparameter tuning to improve model performance.
• Implement model monitoring, logging, and continuous improvement pipelines.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in LLMs, generative AI, and deep learning frameworks.
• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, documentation, and best practices for AI development.

Requirements:

• Minimum 0.6–2 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML development.
• Proven experience in building at least one Large Language Model (LLM) from scratch (end-to-end lifecycle).
• Strong understanding of: * Natural Language Processing (NLP) concepts * Deep Learning fundamentals (CNNs, RNNs, Transformers) * Attention mechanisms and transformer architectures
• Proficiency in Python and experience with frameworks such as: * PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Experience with: * Data preprocessing and feature engineering for NLP tasks * Model training, evaluation metrics, and fine-tuning techniques
• Familiarity with tools/libraries such as: * Hugging Face Transformers * NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn
• Understanding of FAST or REST APIs or backend integration for deploying AI models.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, research-oriented environment with strong problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
