About the role

We are looking for a Data Analyst who will be the backbone of our data preparation and automation processes. This is an excellent entry-level role for someone who loves working with data, writing scripts, and ensuring data quality. You'll prepare datasets for our AI platform, automate repetitive tasks, and generate detailed reports that drive business decisions.

Responsibilities

1.Data Preparation & Quality (Primary Focus)

• Pre-process and prepare data for upload onto our in-house platform, ensuring data readiness and quality standards
• Clean, validate, and structure large datasets using Python (pandas)
• Manage data transformation workflows to ensure seamless integration with our system

2.Automation & Scripting

• Create and maintain automation scripts to handle recurring tasks such as file updates, data refreshes, and scheduled processes
• Build reusable Python scripts for data processing workflows
• Automate manual data engineering tasks to improve efficiency

3.Reporting & Analysis

• Write Python scripts to generate extensive and detailed reports for various business use cases
• Extract insights from data to support collections, operations, and business teams
• Create clear documentation for data processes and reports

4.Tools & Collaboration

• Collaborate with Data Analysts and Data Scientists to support their data needs
• Participate in improving data quality and operational processes
• Work cross-functionally to understand data requirements

Requirements

Must Have

1. Strong Python proficiency — comfortable writing scripts using pandas for data manipulation and transformation
2. Fresh graduates welcome — we're open to candidates with 0-1 years of experience who have strong Python fundamentals
3. Engineering degree or relevant technical education (Computer Science, IT, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields)
4. Attention to detail — data quality is critical in our domain
5. Good communication skills — ability to understand requirements and document your work clearly

Good to Have

1. Experience with polars (faster alternative to pandas)
2. Prior dashboarding experience (Tableau, Power BI, Metabase, or similar)
3. Exposure to SQL for data querying
4. Familiarity with Git for version control
5. Experience with data validation and quality checks
6. Understanding of fintech or lending domain
