Responsibilities:
- Serves as a primary liaison and facilitates working sessions between internal and/or external customers and Information Technology Teams (IT), to define of business requirements for systems fixes and enhancements of lower to mid-tier complexity needed to meet customer and operation objectives.
- Collects data from internal and external customers relating to low to mid-level complexity systems and reporting issues impacting service delivery.
- Writes detailed business functional requirements documents of the operational and/or system changes, ensuring requirements and proposed solutions meet business/customer needs.
- Compiles cost assessment data for projects, and the integration of various project suppliers and vendors.
- Analyzes and recommends requirements changes or improvements to service levels, production, staffing, volume, policies and procedures, user-based systems, financial, audit, compliance, quality, and urgent operations problem resolution.
- Prepares business operations reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing Service Level and Operating Metrics data and trends; develops recommendations where applicable.
- Develops solid, well-rounded knowledge of a business organization, operating processes, user-based systems, and any governing policies and regulations over such programs.
- Coordinate and provide necessary support to assigned projects
- Create reports, dashboards, MIS on existing projects
- Communicate findings and recommendations to key stakeholders
- Document business processes, process flowcharts and process maps for complex processes
- Study current processes to identify automation, improvement opportunities, risk and issues
- Perform research and analysis on business rules, client requirements, processes and systems
- Assist with reviewing, improving and redesigning of business processes
- Develop material related to specific automation and process improvement initiatives
- 2 - 5 years of experience in US Define Benefits
- Proficient in Business Analysis skills (mandatory)
- Requirement Analysis
- Analyze and propose solution.
- SQL and Database Architecture
- RCA Techniques
- Conduct Process Audits and Reports
- Failure Mode and effect Analysis (FMEA)
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting using MS Excel (mandatory)
- Working knowledge SDLC (mandatory)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (mandatory)
- Proficient in creating project reports and other presentation using MS PowerPoint (mandatory)
- Certified in Business Analysis/Process Improvement methodologies (highly desirable)
- System and technical skills such as VBA, SQL etc. (highly desirable)
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma (would be a plus)
