Job Description: Job Title: Associate Data & Ops Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented L1 Cloud Engineer with a foundational understanding of cloud technologies and infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have hands-on knowledge of Azure cloud services, virtual machines, and basic infrastructure automation, along with a strong willingness to learn, troubleshoot, and work in a 24×7 rotational support environment.

Must-Have Skills

• Good understanding of Cloud fundamentals and infrastructure concepts
• Hands-on knowledge of Azure Cloud Services , including:
  • Virtual Machines (VMs)
  • Blob Storage
  • Other basic Azure services
• Working knowledge of SQL
• Understanding of Virtualization concepts
• Basic knowledge of Terraform for Infrastructure as Code
• Familiarity with Linux (preferred)
• Strong learning ability with curiosity to debug issues and identify root causes

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience or exposure to:
  • Terraform
  • Git/GitHub
• Docker
• Cloud certifications such as:
  • Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104)
  • Microsoft Azure Fundamental (AZ-900)
  • Terraform Certification
    

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor, support, and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and deployments
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to:
  • Cloud resources
  • System performance
  • Deployments and configurations
• Create, update, and maintain technical documentation for infrastructure, processes, and procedures
• Work independently on business and technical problems to generate meaningful insights
• Handle ambiguous problem statements and develop structured approaches to resolve them
• Communicate analysis, findings, and updates effectively with:
  • Clients
  • Leadership
  • Onshore teams
• Demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills with a “get it done” attitude
• Participate in 24×7 rotational shift support
