Roles and responsibilities:
- Assist in the provisioning, management, and monitoring of cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Support the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to automate software builds, tests, and deployments.
- Help implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Terragrunt.
- Contribute to the containerization of applications using Docker and their orchestration with Kubernetes.
- Assist in system monitoring, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis of infrastructure and application issues.
- Create and maintain documentation for DevOps processes, configurations, and best practices.
- Write and maintain automation scripts using languages like Bash or Python.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline and improve workflows.
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A basic understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
- Familiarity with cloud computing concepts, preferably with some exposure to AWS.
- Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git.
- An understanding of containerization technologies, particularly Docker.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for learning new technologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Personal projects or academic experience relevant to the tech stack are a plus.
