Associate I Safety Data Analyst

Summary of Position:

Pharmacovigilance (Life Sciences) work includes:

• Designing and developing safety surveillance strategy for products and approval Responsibility for the company's drug surveillance program including the necessary follow-up, risk assessment, and relatedness to product on adverse reaction reports, oversight of safety in clinical trials and post marketing programs
• Participating in the resolution of any legal liability and complying with governmental regulations
• Providing and contributing trends and safety signal detection and risk management assessment for the products' life cycle
• Providing safety support to the clinical development teams
  
  

Duties are listed in order of greatest importance. Other responsibilities may be assigned.

Serve as technical data expert for Global Medical & Product Safety functions Provide analytic outputs for risk assessments, safety reporting and signal detection Proficiency in Tableau, IBM Cognos, SQL Database, AWS Database, Business Intelligence tools are mandatory Liaise with Global Medical & Product Safety functions to provide training and support to ensure continuous improvement of quantitative product safety assessment methods and corresponding tools Maintain technical competence by researching new technology and methods in data analysis Maintain knowledge/expertise of existing data sources that are relevant for addressing safety of Alcon products.

Work hours: 1 PM to 10 PM IST
