About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Automated Software Tester to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and performance of our software applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in automation frameworks, scripting, and continuous integration testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and define test strategies.
- Implement and maintain test automation frameworks for functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Identify, document, and track bugs and defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
- Work closely with DevOps teams to integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
- Perform API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
- Ensure software quality through load testing, performance testing, and security testing when needed.
- Provide feedback on software usability and improve overall test coverage.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience in automated testing.
- Proficiency in test automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, etc.
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#.
- Experience with API testing and tools like Postman, RestAssured, or Karate.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
- Hands-on experience with test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, etc.).
- Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
