ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Senior Automation QA Engineer to join a fast-moving team focused on building internal tools that power product development at scale. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, has strong debugging instincts, and enjoys figuring out how complex systems work—even without detailed documentation.
We’re seeking someone who can reverse-engineer behavior, define testing strategies from scratch, and ensure high-quality standards across frontend, backend, and API layers.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Listen to the broader product story and reverse-engineer technical behavior;
- Identify the right testing strategy, figure out how the system should work, and develop end-to-end test coverage;
- Be comfortable with ambiguity, have strong debugging instincts, and work independently despite a lack of detailed documentation.
MUST HAVES
- 3+ years of experience in Automation testing with TypeScript/JavaScript;
- 3+ years of experience in REST API testing;
- 1+ year of experience using Playwright;
- Strong analytical and communication skills;
- Upper-Intermediate or advanced English skills;
- The working hours for this requirement are APAC.
NICE TO HAVES
- Experience using GraphQL;
- Experience using GitLab;
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL;
- Experience using Jenkins;
- Familiarity with Splunk;
- Exposure to security testing or interest in self-learning security testing using Playwright + TypeScript.
