Job Description

• You will report to Program Manager of the function and will work from our Electronic City, Bengaluru Office in Hybrid work model.
  
  

Your Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Python and Selenium.
• Write clear, maintainable, and reusable test scripts for UI and API testing.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and manual testers to understand requirements and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Execute automated test suites during CI/CD pipelines and report defects effectively.
• Analyse test results, identify bugs, and support debugging and root cause analysis.
• Perform regression testing for new and existing features.
• Maintain test documentation, test cases, and test data.
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-device test coverage.
• Contribute to process improvements and test automation best practices.
  
  

The Essentials - You Will Have

• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in test automation using Python and Selenium WebDriver.
• Education qualification UG/PG (B.E/B. Tech/M. Tech/MCA)
• Good knowledge of XPath, CSS selectors, and DOM handling.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks like pytest or unittest.
• Familiarity with page object model (POM) and modular scripting.
• Experience in API testing using tools like Postman or libraries like requests.
• Working knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation.
  
  

The Preferred - You Might Also Have

• Exposure to BDD frameworks like Behave or Cucumber with Python.
• Experience in cloud-based test platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
• Knowledge of Docker or virtual environments.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology and tools like JIRA or TestRail.
