Overview
We are seeking a talented QA automation engineer to design testing procedures for our software applications. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing the functionality of applications and designing automated tests to validate their performance. You will also be required to identify bugs, install databases, and collaborate with the engineering team.

- Identify software weaknesses, edge cases, and potential failure points across systems.
- Design and implement automated test procedures to validate functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Review bug reports and logs to highlight problem areas and prevent regressions.
- Write robust automation scripts using tools like Selenium, JUnit, or Cypress.
- Collaborate with developers to design and validate backend logic, especially for AWS Lambda + DynamoDB-based microservices.
- Create and maintain test data and test databases, ensuring proper coverage for business scenarios.
- Troubleshoot automation software and optimize test execution and CI pipelines.
- Monitor software quality metrics, log defects, and deliver clear, actionable test reports.
- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and release sign-off processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 3- 5 years of QA experience, with a strong focus on automation in backend and web/mobile environments.
- Strong programming skills in Java; experience building automation for Java-based systems.
- Experience with automation frameworks such asSelenium, Cypress, JUnit, or NUnit.
- Solid understanding ofCI toolslikeJenkins, TeamCity, or GitHub Actions.
- Familiarity with AWS services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, and S3
- Proficient in Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD)and test architecture patterns.
- Comfortable with API testing tools like Postman, REST Assured, or Swagger.
- Design and implement automated test procedures to validate data, functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Detail-oriented with strong debugging, analytical, and documentation skills.
- Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Exposure to fintech, lending, or compliance-focused applications.
- Working knowledge of NoSQL databases like DynamoDB.
- Experience with load testing and performance profiling tools.
