Job Description:

Role Overview:

The Automation Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop, maintain, and enhance automated scripts, frameworks, and tools for efficient software testing and delivery at Sony India Software Centre. This position requires a deep understanding of automation technologies, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for utilizing innovative solutions to drive efficiency and quality.

Education Qualificaiton:

B.E , B Teach, MCA

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in software testing and automation testing using Selenium, Java Script.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript.
• API Test automation using Postman
• Strong knowledge of automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber (BDD)) tools, and best practices.
• Experience in AEM testing.
• Strong knowledge in mobile web automation using Appium.
• Experience in Functional, System , regression , Smoke testing.
• Strong knowledge in jira , Qtest tools.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and quality assurance processes.
• Experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) tools such as Jenkins or Github.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex automation issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in afast-paced, dynamic environment.
