About the Role:
Grade Level (for internal use): 09

The Team:
The Software QA Engineer's focus on proving product quality by displaying functional elements meet the project’s definition of done. Through close interaction with all members of the Development Team each QA Engineer will work to elevate the NM/LRD product suite’s quality using their QA experience and intrinsic curiosity. This position requires an individual to have a strong knowledge of automation with performance testing experience and a passion for technology to successfully work in a dynamic and collaborative work environment.

Knowledge of Automation Frameworks like Data-driven and keyword-driven, hands-on experience in Selenium-based automation, and good knowledge of different programming languages like C# and Python.
Proven understanding of SDLC, CI/CD, and Agile/Scrum
Experience in testing Web services, and APIs and should have exposure to tools like Postman/ReadyAPI
Should be we ll versed in writing SQL joins and Group-by-clauses.
Ability to understand functional specifications from the business perspective and design appropriate acceptance tests.
Thorough understanding of test principles such as smoke, functional (black box/white box), and user acceptance.
Experience and working knowledge of tools such as Azure DevOps.
Ability to analyze defects and spot trends.
Exhibits excellent technical troubleshooting ability.
Conduct various types of Performance Test Execution, such as Load Tests, according to the stated requirements. Competency in managing testing for highly integrated systems with multiple dependencies and moving parts. Analyse results, create reports and communicate with stakeholders.
Thorough understanding of performance test life cycle concepts. Review design documentation from a performance perspective.
Responsible for understanding the delivery approach and strategic initiatives to define appropriate test strategies and approaches. Investigate, design, and present solutions to the team.
Create performance test plans and communications. Understand business scenarios in depth to define workload modeling for different scenarios and collaborate with the team to identify/script. What We’re Looking For:
3-8 years experience in software testing and testing methodologies
Degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent stream or course
Hands-on experience with Integration Tools like Team City / Jenkins is a plus
Services: Azure DevOps, Amazon Web Services
Tools: Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Windows, ReadyAPI, Postman, Jmeter, Loadrunner, BlazeMeter
Experience in development tools and languages a plus
Basic knowledge of cloud computing platforms like AWS a big plus
