Overview
Responsibilities
- Work with the internal leadership team and the client point of contact to come up with solid automation solutions suitable for the specific client context.
- Create initial proof of concept solutions when starting engagements.
- Work with stakeholders to understand automation needs and create a strategy for automation.
- Design automation frameworks from scratch, built on solid design and coding practices.
- Refactor existing automation solutions to gain the most out of existing solutions and shape them to a better state.
- Build reliable, steady, and non-flaky UI or API Automation suites.
- 3+ years of experience in overall Testing and Quality Assurance.
- Have at least 2+ years of experience in Automation.
- You have strong expertise in one programming language, either Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
- You have worked with at least one front-end web UI automation framework like Selenium, Cypress Playwright.
- Worked on at least one build management tool like Gradle, Maven, or npm.
- Worked with at least one test management tool like TestNG, JUnit, or Mocha.
- Have a very good understanding of oops concepts, solid design principles, and various design patterns.
- Have strong Testing fundamentals.
- Have a passion for solving testing problems.
- Dedication to writing clean, maintainable code that promotes collaboration and future innovation.
- Curiosity and a drive to stay updated with the latest technologies and processes in the ever-evolving web development landscape.
- Self-motivation and a willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing requirements.
- Collaborative spirit open to feedback and a desire to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to clearly articulate technical concepts and collaborate effectively.
- Analytical problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
- Ability to work independently while thriving in a team environment, taking initiative and leading where needed.
