Automation Tester(Playwright)

As a Software Test Automation Engineer, you will be working in an agile team and will be responsible for planning test strategy, manual testing and test automation. Requires working knowledge and expanded conceptual knowledge of approaches, tools and platforms in the area of software test automation. Works under a moderate level of guidance and direction. Is proficient in the use of test management and other components of tools and performs a range of technical assignments and solves moderately complex problems under guidance of established policies and procedures. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project following the agile scrum process as specified for the team. Assists in the development, maintenance, and support of various systems and tools. Supports the achievement of goals through own personal efforts. Working knowledge in automation using Playwright, Typescript, JavaScript, Manual Testing and Testing techniques are a must have. Knowledge of Azure, SQL (basic), Web Service testing, Copilot & GIT are good to have. Passionate team player who demonstrates creative, technical and analytical skills. Strong communication skills in technical environments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Ability to analyse, design and test solutions for various quality challenges. Ability to understand test requirements and define test strategy. Ability to identify test scenarios, test cases and prepare test data. Ability to write test scripts that are reusable and maintainable. Ability to guide fellow team members and prioritize multiple responsibilities. Ability to do code reviews. You are familiar with testing the basic security and authorization issues. Hands-on, detail-oriented, and organized. Excellent problem-solving skills. Communicating with other teams and business stakeholders to review requirements, describe software product features, test plans and product strategy. Work in cloud environment. Job Qualifications At least Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science or similar discipline. At least 3-5 years of relevant work experience. Working knowledge of test automation using Playwright is required. Experience in JavaScript, Typescript, testing techniques and manual testing is must. Knowledge of SQL (basic), Web Service testing, CI/CD, Azure & GIT are good to have. An agile team player who can demonstrate creative, technical and analytical skills. Strong communication skills in technical environments.

We are seeking an experienced Automation Tester to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright and JavaScript. The role involves validating web applications, improving test coverage, and ensuring high-quality software delivery within agile teams. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Automation Testing, Playwright, and JavaScript, along with experience in CI/CD integration and debugging complex test scenarios.

What You Will Do

• Drive end-to-end automation testing strategy with a primary focus on Playwright-based automation frameworks.
• Design, develop, and execute scalable automation scripts using JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Perform comprehensive automation and manual testing to ensure product quality and reliability.
• Identify, design, and maintain reusable, robust automation test suites for web applications.
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines and support cloud-based test environments.

• Education qualification of bachelor’s degree in computer science
• Strong hands-on experience in Automation Testing using Playwright.
