Automation Tester/Senior Consultant Specialist

In this role, you will:

• Gather and analyze product requirements
• Manage the end to end test delivery including defining the test strategy, success criteria and co-ordination of testing efforts.
• Participate in manual testing on UI enhancements and prepare the manual test cases to convert automation test scripts.
• Develop and maintain Test schedules, track and manage project risks.
• Maintain the project status always in green, experienced in project quality audits.
• Own System Test Plan; Ensure all testing scenarios, Business Rules are tested
• Plan, design and execute System Testing
• Report defects and assist in their understanding.
• Prepare and present test reports.
• Expand Automation and bring to the next level
• Develop, run and maintain both manual and automated tests across multiple products
• Responsible to track progress and share daily status to stakeholders
• Train, mentor and supervise junior software engineers.
• Assist in development of automated test environments and QA strategies
• Provide Weekly and Project Closure Reports and thresholds.
• Organize the status meetings and send the Status Report (Daily, Weekly etc.).

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• 12+ years of relevant work experience in Software testing and Banking Domain
• Investment Banking knowledge (essential)
• Work experience in Selenium, Specflow and Tosca Automation tool (essential)
• Work experience in scripting language like Python, Unix and Perl (desirable)
• Work experience in Database like SQL and Oracle (essential)
• Experience of workflow such as static data sourcing, trade booking and settlement/confirmations knowledge, Corporate Actions (essential)
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
• Coordination and leadership skills
