AVP - Network Observability Engineer

Overview

We have an exciting opportunity to join our technology team. Working in a dynamic and collaborative environment, you will be able to manage our Network Operations Centre team and help drive operational excellence throughout our business.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining network observability for Macquarie Group with focus on automation, consolidation and integration of AI to reduce manual effort.

What You Offer

• Extensive experience in observability, ideally with a focus on network observability
• Proficient with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Thousand Eyes, Ops Genie, Splunk)
• Solid understanding of network protocols, routing, switching, and subnetting
• Skilled in scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript
• Strong communication skills, highly collaborative
• Experience integrating AI into observability is advantageous
