AWS Architect, Devops, Terraform and/or CloudFormation, Python/Bash/PowerShell
- Collaborate with stakeholders on technical decision-making, architecture reviews, and engineering standards enforcement
- Architect and manage cloud implementations, upgrades, migrations, and change requests
- Evaluate systems for capacity, scalability, and reliability; identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
- Design and implement event-driven architectures using AWS services (e.g., Lambda, SQS, SNS)
- Define and enforce S3 lifecycle policies and RDS high-availability strategies
- Develop and optimize Lambda functions for performance and cost efficiency
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Develop automation scripts to streamline operations using Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Monitor and maintain environments using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and centralized logging solutions
- Lead workload optimization efforts following the AWS Well-Architected Framework
- Drive cloud modernization initiatives, including cloud-native migrations of internal services and data platforms
- Ensure security, compliance, and cost optimization through industry best practices and continuous learning
Skills & Qualifications
- AWS Certification – AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional) or higher
- Proven experience architecting and engineering AWS environments
- Hands-on expertise with core AWS services: EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3, CloudFront, IAM, VPC
- Strong experience with VPC design, availability zones, cloud networking, and security best practices
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools
- Expertise with IaC tools: Terraform and/or CloudFormation
- Familiarity with the AWS Well-Architected Framework
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with developers, DevOps, security, and operations teams
