The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Data Lakehouse architecture, Data Warehousing (Redshift & Snowflake), SQL, PySpark, AWS Glue, and DBT. The role involves designing and optimizing data pipelines, data models, and data warehouse solutions to support analytics and reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement scalable Data Lakehouse architectures on AWSBuild and optimize data warehouse solutions using Amazon Redshift and SnowflakeDevelop and manage ETL/ELT pipelines using PySpark and AWS GlueDesign Fact and Dimension data models for analytics workloadsOptimize SQL queries, data distribution, and partition strategiesProcess and transform structured and semi-structured data using PySparkManage data transformation workflows using DBTEnsure data quality, performance, and reliability across data pipelinesWork with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI for reporting and analyticsCollaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to deliver scalable data solutionsRequired SkillsStrong knowledge of Amazon Redshift and Snowflake data warehouse architecturesUnderstanding of MPP architecture, distribution keys, and sort keysExperience with advanced SQL including window functions and query optimizationHands-on experience with PySpark and Spark SQLExperience handling JSON data, partitioning, and Spark transformationsKnowledge of AWS Glue, DynamicFrame, and incremental data processingExperience with DBT including macros, Jinja templating, and incremental modelsUnderstanding of data warehouse concepts such as Fact and Dimension tablesExperience working with Tableau or Power BIFamiliarity with AI tools used in data workflows
