Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and AWS Glue / Lambda
- Work with AWS services such as S3, Athena, Redshift, Glue, Step Functions, and CloudWatch
- Build and maintain data integration processes between internal and external data sources
- Optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability
- Implement data quality checks and monitoring
- Collaborate with data analysts, engineers, and product teams to meet data requirements
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure best practices in data engineering
- Work with structured and semi-structured data formats (JSON, Parquet, Skills :
- 46 years of experience as a Data Engineer
- Strong programming skills in Python (Pandas, Boto3, PySpark)
- Proficient in SQL and performance tuning
- Hands-on experience with AWS services : S3, Glue, Lambda, Athena, Redshift, Step Functions, CloudWatch
- Experience working with Databricks or EMR is a plus
- Experience in data lake and data warehouse concepts
- Familiar with version control systems like Git
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and workflow tools (Airflow is a plus)
