Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced AWS Data Engineer with 2-3 years of experience who has a strong understanding of AWS cloud services, MS SQL Server, and data migration processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for migrating, optimizing, and managing databases in AWS environments while ensuring data security and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage AWS-based database solutions, primarily using MS SQL Server.
• Perform data migration from on-premises databases to AWS (RDS, EC2, or other AWS services).
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and indexing strategies for efficient data processing.
• Automate database migration and deployment using AWS DMS (Database Migration Service), Glue, or custom scripts.
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security during migration and in production environments.
• Monitor and troubleshoot database performance issues using AWS tools like CloudWatch, Performance Insights, and SQL Profiler.
• Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to integrate cloud databases into applications.
• Implement disaster recovery and backup strategies for cloud-based databases.
• Stay up to date with AWS best practices, cost optimization techniques, and new database technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of experience with AWS services related to databases (RDS, EC2, S3, IAM, DMS).
• Strong expertise in MS SQL Server (query optimization, indexing, stored procedures).
• Experience with data migration tools such as AWS DMS, SSIS, or custom ETL solutions.
• Proficiency in SQL scripting and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with Linux/Windows environments in cloud-based setups.
• Understanding of networking concepts (VPC, security groups, subnets, load balancers).
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and cloud storage solutions.
• Basic knowledge of Python or PowerShell scripting for automation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS Certified Database – Specialty or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate is a plus.
• Experience with NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, MongoDB) is a bonus.
• Knowledge of Big Data tools (Glue, Redshift, Athena) is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
