Requirement: Azure Data Engineer

Experience: 5+ Years

Location: Hyderabad

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement end-to-end ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF)
• Ingest data from various sources including SFTP, REST APIs, and databases
• Organize data storage using Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) in layers across staging, transformed, curated
• Apply transformation logic using ADF Mapping/Data Flows, Azure Functions, Databricks (PySpark/Python) or other processing tools as needed
• Export data to third-party systems (e.g., Workday) or enable access via Excel Power Query
• Work closely with the Azure Infra team to optimize performance, security, and cost
• Document pipelines and logic thoroughly for handover and audit purpose.
• Must-Have Skills:
• 3+ years hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF)
• Strong understanding of ADLS Gen2, Blob Storage concepts
• Experience with SFTP integration, REST API ingestion
• Familiarity with Azure Functions for lightweight transformation logic
• Data modelling and transformation experience (normalized to flattened models)
• Good understanding of data governance, logging, and pipeline monitoring
• Data Engineering Certification on Azure platform DP-203 (Preferred)
• Azure Databricks (Preferred)
