Steer Health is Looking for:

Backend Developer

Were growing rapidly and are seeking a highly motivated, experienced Back-End Developer to join our development team. An experienced Backend Developer who is skilled with Nodejs, JavaScript, and TypeScript and knows their way around large language models (LLMs). You will work on integrating LLMs, handling embeddings, and fine-tuning responses, so a background in NLP or Al is a big plus (This is not a major requirement and good to have).

Strong MongoDB skills are essential, and if you've used Dialog flow before, that's a nice bonus!

What You'll Do:

Build and maintain backend applications with Nodejs, JavaScript, and TypeScript. Work with LLMs, setting up embeddings and fine-tuning responses.

Design and manage MongoDB databases for efficient, scalable solutions. Collaborate on API development to connect our data to the frontend or other services. Bonus: Set up conversational flows if you're familiar with Dialog flow.

What You Bring::

Solid experience (3+ years) in backend development with Nodejs, JavaScript, and TypeScript. Hands-on work with LLMs, embedding, and NLP tasks.

Expertise in MongoDB. Bonus: Familiarity with Dialog flow.

Requirements 3+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer with a strong focus on NodeJS.

Proven experience building and deploying event-driven applications using Cloud Functions GCP. In-depth knowledge of MongoDB and NoSQL database design principles.

Excellent understanding of RESTful API design principles and best practices Experience with Cl/CD pipelines and deployment automation tools.

Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Passion for building high-quality software and solving complex technical problems.
