As a Back-End Developer, you’ll help architect and build the systems, APIs, and infrastructure that power our platform. You’ll work closely with senior engineers to deliver scalable, reliable services that drive real-time simulation, content management, user tracking, and risk analysis.

• Develop and maintain APIs and backend services using Django and Django REST Framework (DRF)
• Design and implement scalable systems for simulations, user management, controls, and reporting
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate APIs and data flows
• Optimize backend performance, security, and maintainability
• Participate in technical planning, code reviews, and QA cycles
• Maintain documentation and help evolve our backend architecture as the platform scales
• Work on-site with our core engineering team in Chennai
  

• Strong proficiency in Python and back-end development fundamentals
• Experience with Django, DRF, and RESTful API design
• Understanding of database design, ORM, and performance optimization
• Ability to write clean, scalable, and well-tested code
• Familiarity with version control (Git), deployment pipelines, and security best practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and structured thinking
• Based in Chennai and ready to work from our office full-time
  

• Experience with PostgreSQL, Celery, Redis, or similar tools
• Exposure to containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, logging/monitoring stacks (e.g., Prometheus, Sentry)
• Interest in cybersecurity, simulations, or threat modeling
• Used or integrated LLM-based or AI-enhanced back-end features
