Job Title: Backend Developer – API & AI Integration for Bubble Application

Project Duration: 1 Month (Freelance Contract)

Location: Remote (India Preferred)

About the Project:

We are developing a web application using Bubble.io as the front end, and are looking for a skilled Backend Developer to build the custom backend infrastructure. You’ll be responsible for designing and implementing robust APIs, integrating AI services (such as OpenAI), and ensuring scalable backend performance.

This is a 1-month, fast-paced project, ideal for someone with hands-on experience in building production-ready backend systems.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable RESTful APIs to support the Bubble frontend
• Integrate AI services (e.g., OpenAI API, LangChain, or similar tools) into backend workflows
• Design and manage database architecture (SQL or NoSQL)
• Ensure security, performance, and data integrity across backend systems
• Collaborate with frontend/no-code developers to ensure smooth integration
• Identify and resolve backend bugs or bottlenecks efficiently

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Python (FastAPI, Flask, or Django preferred)
• Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL (MongoDB) databases
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Heroku, or similar)
• Prior experience integrating third-party APIs, ideally AI or ML services
• Good understanding of API security and best practices
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with background task processing (e.g., Celery, RQ)
• Knowledge of OpenAI, LangChain, or other AI tools/frameworks
• Experience working with no-code platforms like Bubble
