Role Description

We are looking for a skilled Backend Node.js Developer Intern to join our innovative team. This 2-month internship focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend services and APIs using Node.js. You'll work closely with frontend developers and other team members to build scalable solutions that power our platform.

This is a fully remote opportunity, offering flexibility and hands-on experience in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js, Express, and related technologies.
• Integrate databases like MongoDB and ensure efficient data handling.
• Build and optimize REST APIs, with potential exposure to GraphQL if applicable.
• Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
• Debug issues, optimize performance, and participate in code reviews.
• Adapt to new tools and technologies.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript, Express, and MongoDB.
• Experience with REST APIs, AWS, and building scalable backend solutions.
• At least 1 year of hands-on project experience (or 5 self-built projects for freshers).
• Nice-to-have: Experience with TypeScript, GraphQL, or microservices architecture.
• Solid understanding of backend development principles and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and an eagerness to learn.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote team.
• Pursuing or completing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is a plus.
