Backend Java Developer - Internship

Overview

About the internship:

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Design and develop REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot
2. Build and maintain microservices-based backend systems
3. Work with PostgreSQL for data modeling and query optimization
4. Integrate caching and messaging systems such as Redis and Kafka
5. Build reliable and scalable backend services for the NammaCircle platform
6. Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate APIs
7. Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
8. Participate in architecture and design discussions

Stipend:

INR₹ 5,000 - 7,002 /month

Other Requirements:

1. Strong knowledge of Java

2. Experience with Spring Boot

3. Understanding of REST API design

4. Experience with PostgreSQL or relational databases

5. Knowledge of microservices architecture

6. Familiarity with Git and version control

7. Experience with Kafka or event-driven architecture

8. Knowledge of Redis caching

9. Experience with Docker/Containerized deployments

10. Understanding of system design and scalable backend systems

• Stipend Structure:

  Fixed pay: ₹ 3,000 - 5,000 /month

  Incentive pay: ₹ 2,000 - 2,002 /month
