About The Role

We are looking for a seasoned Backend Software Developer with 2-3 years of hands-on experience to join our growing backend team. You’ll work across Node.js and Ruby on Rails systems, contributing to both our existing monolithic architecture and our migration towards microservices. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the development team to design and implement scalable backend solutions
• Build and maintain server-side architecture using Node.js and Ruby on Rails
• Design and manage robust databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis)
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and internal services
• Ensure system performance, responsiveness, and security
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
• Participate in the transition from a monolith to a microservices architecture
• Write technical documentation and contribute to internal tools
• Keep up with industry best practices and emerging technologies
  
  
  

• 2-3 years of backend development experience
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and Ruby on Rails
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis
• Deep understanding of server-side logic, data modeling, and performance optimization
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and system design principles
• Strong command over Git, SQL, and general backend tooling
• Solid foundation in data structures and algorithms
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team with minimal supervision
• Passion for writing quality code and solving meaningful problems
• Based in Bangalore or open to relocating
