Beginner AI Engineer (Python) – Mumbai (In-Office)

Overview

About the Role

We’re looking for a beginner-level AI Engineer who is excited to build real-world AI features from day one. You’ll work closely with the product and engineering teams to develop, test, and deploy AI-powered capabilities across our SaaS products.

This is a hands-on role — ideal for someone who enjoys coding, experimenting, and learning fast.

What You’ll Do

• Build and integrate AI/ML features using Python
• Work with APIs from modern AI platforms (LLMs, embeddings, etc.)
• Clean, process, and transform data for AI use cases
• Write efficient, production-ready backend code
• Collaborate with developers to ship AI-powered features
• Test, debug, and improve model outputs and system performance

Requirements

• Strong fundamentals in Python (must-have)
• Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts or LLMs
• Familiarity with APIs and JSON-based workflows
• Good problem-solving and logical thinking skills
• Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment

Good to Have

• Experience with libraries like NumPy, Pandas, or similar
• Exposure to OpenAI / LLM APIs or prompt engineering
• Basic understanding of backend development (Flask, FastAPI, etc.)
• Familiarity with Git and version control
