About the job:
Key responsibilities:
1 - Deploy and maintain applications on Big Data platforms such as Cloudera.
2 - Perform vulnerability scanning and implement fixes to ensure platform security.
3 - Collaborate with cloud automation teams to deliver automation and maintain cloud environments.
4 - Work with cross-location teams to build scalable, reliable, and resilient software on GKE.
5 - Manage production support, incident communication, and change order implementation.
6 - Develop automation scripts using Bash, Python, YAML, and other scripting languages.
7 - Coordinate and deliver IT initiatives, business changes, and periodic compliance renewals.
8 - Design, develop, and maintain jobs using PySpark, Pentaho, and Control-M.

Other Requirements:
1 - Strong Linux administration experience in multi-tier enterprise environments.
2 - Hands-on experience with DevOps tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, Ansible, and Groovy.
3 - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Jira, and Confluence.
4 - Familiarity with cloud monitoring, logging, and deployment strategies.
5 - Knowledge of Vault for secret storage and ISTIO (preferred).
6 - Proven analytical and problem-solving skills for issue diagnosis.
7 - Ability to lead team management tasks such as timesheets, leaves, and mandatory trainings.
8 - Good communication skills for collaboration across teams.
