Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Lead Software Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Full Stack development using the MERN stack and AWS technologies, and 7-10 years of professional experience.

As a Lead Software Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of complex web applications, leading a team of engineers, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of robust and scalable web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js).
• Architect and deploy serverless applications on AWS using Lambda, SQS, S3, EventBridge, and API Gateway.
• Design and manage relational and NoSQL databases such as MySQL and DynamoDB.
• Implement and manage messaging systems using Kafka.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of software engineers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features and improvements.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Implement best practices in code quality, testing, and deployment processes.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, and incorporate them into the development process as appropriate.
  
  

• 7-10 years of professional experience in Full Stack development using the MERN stack.
• Extensive experience with AWS services such as Lambda, SQS, S3, EventBridge, and API Gateway.
• Proficiency in relational and NoSQL databases such as MySQL and DynamoDB.
• Experience with messaging systems like Kafka.
• Strong understanding of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks (React.js).
• Expertise in server-side technologies and frameworks (Node.js, Express.js).
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
