Role Summary:
Medline’s Finance BPM team is seeking a Business Process Analyst to lead workflow automation initiatives using Microsoft Power Platform. The role involves identifying process improvement opportunities, translating business needs into low-code solutions, and collaborating with stakeholders and developers to deliver scalable, efficient workflows. The ideal candidate will have strong finance process knowledge (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables and Corporate Accounting), experience in Agile delivery, and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset.

Medline’s Finance BPM team is seeking a Business Process Analyst to lead workflow automation initiatives using Microsoft Power Platform. The role involves identifying process improvement opportunities, translating business needs into low-code solutions, and collaborating with stakeholders and developers to deliver scalable, efficient workflows. The ideal candidate will have strong finance process knowledge (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables and Corporate Accounting), experience in Agile delivery, and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the identification of opportunities for process improvement through automation.
- Create detailed business requirements documents including process/workflow design documents.
- Work closely with business users and development/programming staff to convey system requirements. Guides develop team activities using agile methodologies. Conducts sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives as needed.
- Communicate with management regarding the status of on-going projects and scheduling of new initiatives. Perform high-level work intake assessment of new projects for prioritization and scheduling.
- Create detailed specifications, testing, and training plans and validate requirements for testability.
- Produce test cases for detailed and high-level requirements, execute manual testing on a variety of web browsers, coordinate and facilitate user acceptance testing, perform post migration smoke testing, and accurately assess impact of defects, log and report defects found during testing and triage defects with team.
- Collaborate with developers and business contacts to develop roll-out plans including training and provide support during and after roll-out.
- Support on ad-hoc projects assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field, MBA from a reputed institution
- 6+ years in a Business Analyst role, preferably in Agile environments using JIRA
- Experience with BPM tools and workflow automation; Power Platform exposure preferred
- Strong documentation and process modeling skills (Visio, Figma, etc.)
- SAP knowledge and proficiency in MS Excel and presentation tools
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Good to have SQL exposure
