We are looking for Dynamic Presales Business Analyst for a very critical role within the organisation.
Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Presales Business Analyst to bridge the gap between our potential clients' business needs and our technical delivery capabilities. In this role, you will be the "right hand" to the Sales team, providing the functional and analytical groundwork necessary to close deals.
You will not just be documenting requirements; you will be consulting with prospective clients to uncover pain points, conceptualizing high-level solutions, and crafting compelling proposals that demonstrate why our firm is the best partner for their journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Discovery & Requirement Analysis
- Lead discovery sessions and workshops with prospective clients to understand their business goals, pain points, and high-level requirements.
- Translate vague client aspirations into clear, scope-able functional requirements and user stories.
- Conduct gap analysis to determine the difference between current systems and the proposed solution.
- Proposal & Solution Development (RFP/RFI)
- Manage the end-to-end creation of responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Collaborate with Solution Architects and Tech Leads to define the technical approach, ensuring it aligns with the business value proposition.
- Draft Statements of Work (SOWs), including scope definitions, assumptions, and exclusions.
- Estimation & Commercials
- Work with delivery teams to build accurate effort estimates (time and material) and resource loading plans.
- Assist the sales team in pricing strategies by identifying risks and dependencies that could impact project costs.
- Demos & Presentations
- Create and deliver compelling product demonstrations or Proof of Concept (POC) walkthroughs tailored to the client’s specific industry context.
- Prepare slide decks and visual assets (process flows, wireframes) that simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Sales to Delivery Handover
- Ensure a smooth transition from the sales cycle to the delivery phase by briefing the Project Manager and implementation team on the sold scope and client expectations.
- Education: BE, MBA.
- Experience: 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a Presales or Consulting environment.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile/Scrum methodologies, and general knowledge of modern tech stacks (e.g., Cloud, API integration, SaaS).
- Documentation: Exceptional writing skills; ability to author professional, persuasive proposals and detailed SOWs.
- Communication: World-class presentation skills with the ability to articulate value to C-level executives.
- Tools: Proficiency in diagramming tools (Visio, Lucidchart), AI tools, Jira/Confluence, and MS Office Suite (specifically PowerPoint and Excel).
- Certifications – CBAP or TOGAF.
- Experience in Automotive/Mobility/Connected Vehicles, FinTech, Retail
- UI/UX prototyping skills (Figma, Adobe XD) to create quick mockups during the sales process.
- Previous experience as a developer or QA is a plus.
