Overview
About The RoleWe are looking for a Business Analyst with a minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in the IT Software Services industry. The ideal candidate should be confident in gathering requirements, preparing functional documentation (BRD, SRS), working directly with clients, and collaborating with internal teams across the SDLC while actively contributing within a Scrum-based Agile environment.
Work Setup
- Full-time, in-office role — Hyderabad
- Aligned with PST (Pacific Standard Time)
- Requires active collaboration with global clients and cross-functional teams
- Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements from clients and stakeholders.
- Create clear and detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Software Requirement Specifications (SRS).
- Act as a strong liaison between clients and internal teams (Development, Design, QA).
- Collaborate on wireframes and mockups using Figma and participate in UI/UX discussions.
- Manage user stories, tasks, and workflows using JIRA.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and ensure alignment throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies, including: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives.
- Backlog Grooming/Refinement sessions
- Support Product Owners and Scrum Teams in backlog prioritization and requirement clarification.
- Ensure user stories include clear acceptance criteria and business context.
- Participate in product demos and validate delivered features against business requirements.
- Actively listen to client requirements, ask the right questions, and ensure clarity before execution.
- Leverage AI tools to improve documentation quality, requirement analysis, productivity, and communication wherever applicable.
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in an IT Software Services environment.
- Strong hands-on experience in BRD and SRS documentation.
- Practical knowledge of JIRA for project and task management.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
- Experience using Figma for wireframes, mockups, and UI/UX collaboration.
- Excellent communication, listening, and documentation skills.
- Self-driven attitude with strong ownership and accountability.
- Willingness to work directly with clients and adapt to evolving business needs.
- Effective and responsible usage of AI tools to enhance analysis, documentation, and workflow efficiency.
- Exposure to project estimation and effort tracking.
- Basic understanding of APIs and system integrations.
- Experience in client communication and stakeholder management.
- Strong learning mindset with an interest in evolving tools, processes, and technologies.
