Business Analyst - RPA

Overview

We are seeking a Techno-Functional RPA Business Analyst who can bridge the gap between business and technology. This role involves gathering requirements, designing automation solutions, and supporting development activities such as exception handling, code review, and fixing BOT errors at a beginner level. Additionally, the candidate should have awareness of Agentic AI concepts and its potential integration with automation workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Analysis
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities.
• Document business processes and prepare PDD (Process Design Document) and SDD (Solution Design Document).
• Conduct feasibility analysis for RPA implementation.
• Knowledge on FTEs calculation, and validating process complexity.
• Technical Support
• Perform basic BOT debugging and error resolution.
• Review BOT code and ensure compliance with BOT logics as per BRD and SDD.
• Handle exception scenarios and suggest improvements in development phase.
• Validate BOT logic, performance and end-end process run before pushing code to production.
• Assist in deployment and post-production support.
• Maintain logs and reports and handle Bot failures.
• Understand the fundamentals of Agentic AI and its role in autonomous decision-making.
• Explore opportunities to integrate AI-driven agents with RPA workflows.
• Stay updated on emerging AI trends and suggest innovative automation solutions.
• Collaboration
• Work closely with RPA developers, testers, and business teams.
• Support UAT and provide training/documentation for end-users.
  

• RPA Tools: Basic knowledge of UiPath / Automation Anywhere / Blue Prism.
• Programming Basics: VB.NET / C# / Python (for minor fixes).
• Process Analysis: Strong analytical and documentation skills.
• Excel & Data Handling: Proficiency in Excel for BOT input/output.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills to interact with business and technical teams.
  
  

• 1–3 years of experience in Business Analysis with exposure to RPA.
• Certification in RPA tools (UiPath BA or Developer Foundation preferred).
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
