Job Description

A Business Analyst is a pivotal role in any organization, responsible for bridging the gap between business objectives and IT capabilities. The person in this position works closely with stakeholders to analyze the business processes and systems, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategic solutions that are aligned with organizational goals. They gather and document business requirements, conduct data analysis, and provide recommendations to enhance efficiency and profitability. Business Analysts are problem-solvers who possess strong analytical and communication skills, enabling them to work collaboratively across various departments. Their insights and analyses drive operational excellence and contribute significantly to the achievement of business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough business analysis to identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather detailed user and business requirements.
• Develop detailed project documentation including process maps and business requirements.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to engage stakeholders continually throughout projects.
• Analyze data to support decision-making processes and strategic business initiatives.
• Work closely with IT teams to ensure technical solutions meet business needs.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance during the implementation of new processes.
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate insights and project status effectively.
• Play a pivotal role in user acceptance testing to ensure solutions are fit for purpose.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with business changes or new initiatives.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of implemented solutions and processes.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to recommend innovative solutions.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
• Strong understanding of business process analysis and project management principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder collaboration.
• Proficient in using data analysis tools and software such as Excel, SQL, and Tableau.
• Project management certification such as PMI-PBA, CBAP is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
